How to mount the Sensors
Sensor Height in relation to entrance width
Section titled “Sensor Height in relation to entrance width”The correct height of the sensor is key for capturing all traffic that passes beneath it. Too low and you could potentially miss some counts.
See below diagram and table that outlines the minimum height requirements for specified entrance widths:

Sensor location above an entrance
Section titled “Sensor location above an entrance”The camera on the sensor is what does the capturing of information. It is important to place the camera of the sensor in the middle of the entrance to ensure good coverage. See below diagram:

In addition the Sensor must not be placed too far away from the doorway/entrance threshold so that people can slip past and not be counted! See below diagram:

Fixing the sensor to the wall/ceiling
Section titled “Fixing the sensor to the wall/ceiling”A bracket is provided with the sensor so that it can be placed above an entrance and easily angled downwards to capture traffic. The bracket comes with a 1/4 inch screw mount to attach the bracket to the Sensor. See images below:

If you are having trouble mounting on the wall directly above your entrance/doorway, you can also use a drop down pole. See image below:
